Seeking Involvement?

Here are some key contact people. If they are not directly involved, they can certainly guide you to the right person!

• Altar Guild
  This group of dedicated women prepares the altar for all services and maintains vestments and linens. Needle work skills are a nice addition (but NOT necessary), since new linens are made from time to time. If you are interested in helping, contact Nancy Johnson for details.

• Bishop's Committee
  Any member of this elected committee can help you with a special interest you may have. Make your talents known, and someone will help you channel them to good use. Contact Dave Peet, Tom Ferguson, Butch Haas, Mary Howard, Gary Johnson, Jeanie Rainwater or Cordell Swindle..

• Choir meets each Sunday at 9:30 am -- before the first service.
  Join the fun! Contact Sherry Haas for further information. We love making "a joyful noise unto the Lord". Trained voices are NOT required.

• Clean-up Crew
  The building and grounds can always stand sprucing up. Glen Welsh and Butch Haas are the ones to contact! Watch for notices on the parish hall bulletin board and help do your part as needed.

• Daughters of the King
  This group of women meet monthly to organize service projects for the church and surrounding communities. The order promotes prayer and service. Contact Jayne Adams.

• Fellowship Snacks
  The signup sheet for post-service fellowship goodies is on the bulletin board in the parish hall.

• Flower Fund
  Honor or memorialize someone by contributing to the flower fund. Your special person will be noted in the bulletin on the Sunday of the event you choose. Envelopes can be found in the narthex.

• Men's Group
  Besides having a good time on poker nights, the men of the church frequently cook for church and community activities, and can always be found doing the "heavy stuff" when called on by other groups. Butch Haas usually has the low-down on what's going on.

• News for bulletins, newsletter, and website
  Share your news with Ascension & St. Mark in the following ways.
  Bulletin info for the Hispanic service to Fr. Adams, and for the 10:30 am service to Jayne Adams by Wednesday who will see that it gets to the right person.
  Info for the web site needs to go to Mary Howard.

• Children's Ed Leaders
  The children's programs need involved adult leaders to share the blessings of our faith. Please share your talents with the kids of the parish. Visit with Fr. Adams about serving.
