FUN...you
bet, but on a serious note, EYC does major service projects,
including their recent collection of food for the Thanksgiving
Food Drive for WARM in 2007. |

The following prayer guide is offered as a way we can continue to support the children and mission of this cause. To discover more about other projects, go to www.samaritanspurse.org |
Sunday |
Pray for the hurting children and families whose lives will be touched this year through Operation Christmas Child. Pray especially that many hearts will be opened to God's love and the Good News of Jesus Christ. |
Monday |
Most children who receive shoe box gifts live in desperate circumstances, suffering from abject poverty, sickness, war or natural disaster. Pray that God will meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. |
Tuesday |
Pray for our ministry partners in countries around the world, especially that the shoe box gifts will be effective tools for evangelism. Pray also for their follow-up and discipleship programs. |
Wednesday |
Gift-filled shoe boxes are distributed in some countries that are closed or hostile to the Gospel, such as Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, India, and Vietnam. Pray that doors will be opened, so the Good News can be freely proclaimed. |
Thursday |
Pray for the individuals, families, churches, and groups who will be filling shoe boxes this year, especially for the children. Pray that they will se that it truly is more blessed to give than to receive. |
Friday |
Pray for everyone involved in collecting, processing, transporting, and delivering shoe box gifts, including the tens of thousands of volunteers. Pray especially for the timely delivery of the gifts. |
Saturday |
Pray for the Samaritan's Purse staff in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, and Australia, as they deal with the logistical challenges of Operation Christmas Child. |

Email me photos of you and your friends... EYC events okay, but so are pics of you doing your own thing -- at 4-H, in band, athletics, music, dance...whatever you do! |
