• Midweek Manna -- Back to the Future: Featuring Evening prayer using the 1928 prayerbook and current Christian music. Healing services (English and Spanish), group activities, Christian Ed and Bible Study for youth and adult follow on a rotating basis.
  • Sept 19 - Bishop’s Annual Visit: This combined congregation bilingual service hosted Bishop Wantland for confirmation and reception of new members.
  • Annual Cattle Drive, October 30: A featured event at the Decatur Livestock Auction is the annual ASM Cattle Drive. Whether you choose to donate an animal, sign on as a trail hand or wrangler, or match the price per pound brought at auction, there's a place for your participation. Blessing of the animals will be on October 30th with the sale following on Monday,November 1st.
  • Halloweenie Roast, October 30: Just around the corner -- you can almost smell the hot dogs in the air! Plan on a piñata, costumes, marshmallows roasted over a campfire, and the always popular hayride around the grounds. Come for the cattle drive at 2 then the Halloweenie Roast at 6 pm.
  • Habitat for Humanity: ASM joins with Wise County's Habitat for Humanity this fall in building one house and refurbishing a second home. Check with Cordell Swindle, Allen Jackson, or Tom Ferguson if you're interested in donating or showing up to swing a hammer the first three Fridays in November.

  • St. Lucy Chapter, DOK Membership Class: This national organization focuses on prayer, service, and evangelism. Nancy Johnson and Jayne Adams are contact people, but just look for the silver DOK cross, and ask any member for information. Monthly meetings will be the first Wednesday of each month following the Midweek Manna Evening Prayer.

  • Choir: Regular practice on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am. Prior musical experience is not required to be a part of this fun-loving group!
  • Call for Acolytes and Lay Readers: If your child is interested in serving as an acolyte, or you would like to be a lay reader, please let Fr. Adams or one of the current lay readers know. Training sessions for new acolytes will be arranged as needed.
